After completing a Bachelor or Physiotherapy (Honours Class 1, University Medal) at The University of Newcastle, Kate moved to Melbourne from Newcastle NSW. She brings with her significant experience, having practiced physiotherapy in a leading musculoskeletal private practice as well as with NPL soccer teams and local first grade AFL teams.

Outside of her clinical role, Kate works extensively as a Physiotherapist in rugby league for NRL Victoria. Her primary roles are with the Melbourne Storm Development Teams (U19s, U21s), the Victorian NRLW Pathways Development Program and with state representative teams.

Kate has a passion for sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and thoroughly enjoys managing lower limb injuries, tendinopathies and applying active management strategies. She has an interest in athletic performance and injury prevention. In line with these passions, Kate is currently completing her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy.

Kate enjoys working with her clients to help them achieve their goals and ensure they return to doing what they love!

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) – University of Newcastle
  • Currently completing Masters of Sports Physiotherapy – La Trobe University
  • APA Sports Physiotherapy Level 1 & 2
  • Dry Needling Physiotherapy Level 1
  • APA Spinal Physiotherapy Part A (Cervical)
