Hannah graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.

Hannah completed her Clinical Pilates training in 2012, and her five-year Internship with World Surf League in 2015, working annually at The Bells Beach Rip Curl Pro. In 2016 Hannah travelled internationally gaining experience at global surfing competitions. In 2017 Hannah worked at a leading physiotherapy practice in Manchester which is associated with Manchester City Football Club.

Hannah has experience in acute and outpatient musculoskeletal practice through working at private and public Melbourne hospitals. Her rotations included musculoskeletal paediatric, orthopaedic trauma, women’s health and hydrotherapy. She particularly enjoys helping her patients with their rehabilitation before and after orthopaedic surgery to maximise their outcomes.

Hannah is passionate about physiotherapy exercise classes including the use of clinical pilates. She feels it is essential to the development of core strength, injury rehabilitation and prevention. She has had excellent results working with elite athletes, pre and post-natal women and those suffering from lower back pain. Hannah tailors her practice to each patient individually and incorporates appropriate gym-based resistance training into her classes. She currently runs several clinical exercise classes each week at The Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre. Exercises based on Pilates principles are incorporated into her classes.

Hannah has a special interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation research and completing quality projects. She has worked alongside orthopaedic surgeons to develop physiotherapy rehabilitation protocols. Hannah presented at the 2013 Australian Physiotherapy Association conference and is currently completing her Masters in Sports Medicine at Melbourne University.
