Dry Needling

Dry Needling is an effective and popular technique for treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Dry Needling involves the insertion of fine needles in and around the myofascial trigger points.

Myofascial trigger points are points in muscles which are painful when pushed and feel like small ‘knots’.

Needles are inserted into these trigger points to deactivate and release them.

Many of our Physiotherapists, Myotherapists and Remedial Massage Therapists are trained to perform Dry Needling and use it as an adjunct to other physical and medical treatments for musculoskeletal problems.

If you wish to try Dry Needling as part of your treatment, please advise our reception staff and they will arrange an appointment with an appropriate Practitioner.
