‘Needling’ or Dry Needling is becoming increasingly popular as a technique for treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Dry Needling involves the insertion of fine needles in and around the myofascial trigger points. Myofascial trigger points are points in muscles which are painful when pushed and feel like small ‘knots’. Needles are inserted into these trigger points to deactivate and release them.
Dry Needling is used by several of our Practitioners as an adjunct to other physical and medical treatments for musculoskeletal problems.
If you wish to try Dry Needling as part of your treatment, please advise our receptions staff and they will arrange an appointment with an appropriate Practitioner.
