Many people debate the benefit of stretching, however it is undeniable that some of the most common complaints in The Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre Physiotherapy Department can be attributed to prolonged poor posture at work.

Postural assessments are recommended as is the initiation of a simple stretching program.  Stretching regimes can help prevent or alleviate some of the pain caused by tightness in areas such as the neck and mid back.
