Dr Philip Perlstein's upcoming leave!

After over forty one years of medical consulting, Dr Philip Perlstein will take a break from seeing patients for a six month period starting in early July 2015. He will then re-assess his further plans in the new year.

We are delighted he is taking this well earned break, being a founding member of The Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre.

More importantly, he will remain actively involved in the running of the Practice, continuing to work alongside the Practice Manager and other Practitioners in the administration and development of the Practice.

He is committed to this task for the long term.

It is gratifying that many of his loyal patients have decided to continue as patients of the Practice where their care will be overseen by other experienced and capable Sports Medicine Doctors.

The continuity of patient care will be guaranteed by the benefit of computerised medical records that provide a logical, organised and legible basis for seamless transition to other practitioners.

We will miss Philip’s direct input into patient care but are pleased he will still continue this care indirectly in a mentoring role and in assisting the running of the Practice.
