Return to Activity Post Lockdown

The team at The Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre wishes to thank you for your support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope you’re managing to look after your health at this difficult time.

As restrictions are gradually easing, we are excited at the prospect of helping all of our clients transition safely to regular activity post lockdown.

To facilitate this we have increased the number of participants who can attend each of our physiotherapy exercise classes. We are not back to pre-pandemic numbers at this stage, but can now have 2 – 3 attendees, depending on the time of the class.

Our 7:00am, 6:15pm and each of the Saturday classes will increase to 3 participants, which allows for adequate social distancing during the classes, as traffic in the practice and gym area is very low at these times.

All of our other classes have up to 2 participants.

We are pleased to let you know Physiotherapist Scott Mitchinson has returned and his Thursday Exercise Class has resumed, his popular Monday class is not too far away!

Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist Mick Hughes has returned to provide in person consultations and his Friday Knee Class has recommenced.

Jess Frydenberg, our Pelvic Health Physiotherapist has also returned for in person consultations each Friday.

We hope these changes provide you with more options, allowing you to work towards achieving optimal health and fitness.

Please note, our stringent infection control procedures will continue to help ensure your safety and that of our staff.

Feel free to book your classes online here or individual consultations here. You can of course phone our friendly Reception team on 9650 9372 to organise your appointments or to reinstate/purchase your class packs.

Thank you once again for your support and we look forward to seeing you soon.
