Jaw Pain

Jaw pain of gradual onset can be related to the biomechanics of the upper back, neck and jaw joint (temporomandibular joint - TMJ).  Often the joints and muscles are not working at their most efficient level and cause excess strain on the TMJ resulting in pain.  This may also cause headaches.

Physiotherapy is an excellent form of non-invasive treatment for this condition.  Your Physiotherapist may recommend seeing a Doctor or Dentist also.
