Dry Needling
‘Needling’ or Dry Needling is becoming increasingly popular as a technique for treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Treatment involves the insertion of a needle, similar to those used in acupuncture, in and around myofascial trigger points.  Myofascial trigger points are points in muscles which are painful when pushed and feel like small knots.   Needling commonly involves insertion into these trigger points using acupuncture needles to deactivate and help resolve trigger points.

Dry Needling is used by several of our Practitioners as an adjunct to other physical and medical treatments for musculoskeletal problems.

If you wish to try Dry Needling as part of your treatment, please advise our reception staff and they will arrange an appointment with an appropriate Practitioner.
