If your doctor, physiotherapist or podiatrist sends you for any investigations, for example blood testing or X-Ray it is preferable that you make a review appointment to discuss your results.  Alternatively  you may ring the clinic one week after your tests to find out the results.

In this situation your practitioner will leave a brief note for the reception staff and when you call, reception staff will pass on the practitioner's message.  If the result is normal you will be told so.

If there is something your practitioner wishes to discuss with you, you will be asked to make an appointment to discuss the results.

If you wish to discuss your results, even if they are normal, to ensure optimal medical care and understanding of your health, you will be asked to make an appointment.

Please note that if any result indicates a need for urgent review, you will be contacted by your practitioner or one of our administrative staff as soon as the result is viewed.

However if you have not made a review appointment it is essential that you exercise your responsibility to call us to act as a double check that your result has been processed and seen by the Practitioner.
