Jesse Adams B. Physiotherapy, Masters Sports & Manipulative Physiotherapy APA Sports and Manipulative Physiotherapist Jesse has been practicing at the Melbourne Sports Medicine Center for the past 3 years after moving from Adelaide where he also worked in private practice. A Physiotherapist with 10 years experience, Jesse has consulted for the last 5 years as a titled Sports and Manipulative physiotherapist following the completion of a Masters degree from the University of South Australia. His experience includes working as a sports physiotherapist at the 2006 Commonwealth Games as an Australian sports physiotherapist at the World University Games in 2007 and Arafura Games in 2009. More recently Jesse was appointed Sports physiotherapist to the Australian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team who won a gold medal at the World Championships in July 2010. He looks forward to continuing this role in the lead up to the 2012 London Paralympics. Jesse is also currently a consultant physiotherapist to the Victorian Institute of Sport’s Women’s Hockey program. In addition to treating all types of injuries, Jesse specialises in spinal rehabilitation as well as disorders of the shoulder, hip and knee. |
